In the continuation of our collaboration with Médecins du Monde Switzerland, we have developed an application integrated to a mobile photo booth to denounce that one woman out of three is a victim of violence during her life.
In the continuation of our collaboration with Médecins du Monde Switzerland, we have developed an application integrated to a mobile photo booth to denounce that one woman out of three is a victim of violence during her life.
Intended to address the public of festivals in French-speaking Switzerland (Paléo, Festineuch), our mission was to recreate the experience of a traditional photo booth by means of modern systems placed in an ad hoc setting. Ensuring an immediate and simplified handling by all users in a festive context was therefore the central element for the creation of the user experience.
The presence of a laser transmitter/receiver (LiDAR) in the iPad Pro was a determining factor in the technical advice given to our client. It allows to collect in real time the three-dimensional coordinates of the face for a perfect visual integration.
The data collected by the sensors combined with the computing power allows the integration of a visual effect in augmented reality on the face. Moreover, the system recognizes up to 3 faces simultaneously, allowing to share the experience in group.
Raising awareness about violence against women is the goal of this installation. Like a photo booth, the application allows you to print the photo. This one, associated with the key message relayed by Médecins du Monde, gives a factual and tangible proof of the gravity of the situation. In addition, the generated image can be sent by e-mail, thus offering an additional possibility to alert on this subject.
