DBI Services - a member of the Sequotech group - is a major IT player in Switzerland, specializing in IT infrastructures and data platforms. They approached us with the main objectives of redesigning their website:
Clarify the structure and presentation of their multiple services
Integrate their highly trafficked blog with the goals of promoting SEO and indirect service promotions
Rethink and refresh the visual identity.
Opt for a CMS that allows flexibility in content entry and maintenance.
All the data on the existing site has been restructured to create links between services, products and technologies, as well as with training courses in several languages in different locations. The new structure ensures that no navigation scenario leads to a dead-end page. Finally, the excellent organic referencing that the website already enjoyed has been maintained and optimized thanks to the redesign.
Boosting the visual identity
To make its image more attractive, especially for the recruitment of new employees, the graphic charter has been refreshed and deployed in a custom design.
A lively community and a large content
With nearly 3000 articles, the blog and its 40 contributors generate more than 100,000 visits per month. In partnership with our client - a specialist in the field - we have optimized each element of the blog in order to offer a fluid navigation without overloading the servers.
Search as a central navigation tool
To make available the rich content of the site, we have integrated the Algolia® search engine that indexes and weights the data to guarantee the quality of the results. The instant search is segmented according to the site structure to improve readability and relevance.
Edit and develop with respect to appearance and intent
The editing of all the pages of the site has been simplified by the implementation of the Gutenberg system customized in Wordpress. The definition of a system of visual components guarantees the visual and semantic adequacy of the pages from their creation.
